These, plus a pair of cymbals, all came together 25-30 years ago in NoCal. They were described as African, but without perceptible support for that. These are single pics of each, but I'll post several views of each rattle subsequently. Thanks for lookin'!

The hand-rattle is ~7" long, ~2" max diameter; weight is ~237 grams.
The oval (ankle?) rattle is ~8" long, ~4" wide; weight is ~209 grams.
The 2-piece bracelet is ~4" diameter, ~5" across the lugs; weight is ~276 grams.
The small rattle is ~2 3/8" diameter; weight is ~89 grams.
All of these have cast-iron rattle-stones (pic 10). Thanks again for lookin'!

These came with the rattles, but I don't see any similarity, except for the material. Originally the cord on these may have been leather, rough-spun hemp or such...it's now modern nylon. They are ~5" diameter, ~0.090" thick; weight, the pair, is ~517 grams.
Your comments an' suggestions are most welcome, folks; thanks for lookin'!

The oval ones and the hinged one are probably ankle rattles from India. Google "silambu" for other examples. The other two would be baby rattles, probably also from India.

The small cymbals are called manjeera/manjira, and are also Indian.
