    Hi,
Had to laugh. One apartment had the same table only in bright pink. Matching chairs in hot pink, the walls and ceiling, hot pink. You guessed it the stove, sink , cabinets and floor and curtains HOT PINK. It was like climbing inside a Peto_Bysmal
bottle. We only stayed there 3 months it was toooooooo much.

Reminds me of old looped upholstery designs :) Very nice find. In a family of 6, a leaf would have been nice, but it wouldn't have fit in our kitchen. lol

Have you met Kitten Kay Sera? Pink Lady of Hollywood?

Here she is, preparing (what else?) pink waffles.

Ours was gray - I punctured a hole in my chair getting something out of the cupboard wearing a pair of these:

I remember hearing that pop and thinking, uh oh.

Formica always reminds me of the Italian icecream parlors of my childhood. The best one in our town was called La Venezia, they had photos of gondoliers on the walls.:)

I grew up in a house built in 1956 with a glass top kitchen table. But the kitchen counters were turquoise Formica with a boomerang design. MCM is so in they reintroduced the pattern :)

How exotic for an ice cream parlor!

In my house that would have initiated the line, “This is why we can’t have nice things!” :hilarious:

In my house, I would have gotten a dirty look for sure.
They didn't need to say anything, their faces said it all.
