    The woman says this was a souvenir from Switzerland in the '50s.

    The object just doesn't seem Swiss to me.

    very typical Swiss. cow shoes on the hind legs for more grip...which sadly you can't see on this pic...

    (mid-east...the Swiss didn't mark such small peanuts )

    Nepalese for me too, unless it's a border jumper from India. The wirework could be anything from Moroccan to Chinese, but the stones are typical east Asian.

    I think Turkish. Saw very similar ones with those shoes there.
