Featured 950 Silver Lighter

    Picked up this lighter today at an estate sale. The back has initials from previous owner. But there is another mark on the left side. Can anyone help?

    Pull the insert to see if it is a Zippo, it can be dated if it is.

    I would suggest that this lighter (or at least the case), was made in Japan. The Japanese silver standard is 950, and the image on the case is of a Japanese fan.

    I agree, it is a very Japanese lighter. In both the style and 950 fineness.

    I think it might be the signature of the artist who did the engraving, if it is an engraving or the artist that design.
