    Hi folks

    decided this morning to go easy on spending for a while as sales are slow, walked straight into are local antiques shop(20) for a browse and found this

    couldn't resist :banghead:

    looks arts and crafts period but unmarked

    thought it looked devonshire/brannam but clay is wrong

    it was those darn snakes that got me :)

    good size and undamaged

    any thoughts or info appreciated

    Belgian imo. I love Belgian Art Nouveau pottery.:happy: And snakes.:happy:

    Aha, I think you could be right Aj, the glaze goes look that type doesn't it, i always seem to forget about begium, but always drawn to their pottery pieces from that era

    Ditto.... Belgium. Underappreciated pottery IMHO.

    Shall I third with Belgium. When I see glaze on the bottom like that, I always think Belgium first. Lovely glaze.
