A frog inkwell

    This is a metal inkwell, probably victorian. Anyone has clues what the stick that the frog holds is for? Is there something missing from it?

    Had to look bull fiddle up.;) And agree, given the position of the arms most likely a double bass.

    This would be an easy solution and it would look complete. :cat: You could straighten the bend and affix something like a pipe cleaner to the top.
