A Mystery Basket Bowl (African?)

I showed these pix to a lady knowledgeable in Native American baskets (mostly SW), and she said no, probably African.
The bowl shaped basket is approx. 3-1/2" high, 10-3/4" to 11" diameter.
What are your thoughts? (Thanx in advance!)

 

Looks like a "Binga" basket, made by the Tonga in Zimbabwe, Africa. Larger versions are still used for winnowing grain. But smaller ones such as this are now made for sale.
