A new found painting

    I just found this painting tucked behind another one in a frame. It is not signed but it is on thick paper that is embossed from France. I would appreciate any information or comments Thanks!

    I think it's quite wonderful! How old is the frame/picture that it was behind? How large is it? Can you make out the lettering in the embossing?

    EDIT - The embossing looks to indicate that it is paper made by Arches.

    The picture it was behind is from the 60's, I think. The painting is 11 by 15 in. And you are correct it is embossed Arches. Thank you!
