I have found a picture according to the announcement. The seller claims that it costs about one million dollars))

And refuses to send additional photos. Allegedly did examination in some European country. The picture too now is in Europe.

I wanted to learn who the author of a picture, he writes that it is the unknown artist.

I think that he has gone crazy)). I am right))? 5.jpg

    You are right.:)
It is a very nice painting, artist not known. That means the value can only be based on the quality, condition, and the demand for the subject and period.
Seller refuses to send photos, very suspect.

It's a copy of a painting by a Canadian artist: Paul Peel
The original is in the Art Gallery of Ontario
    It's titled "After the Bath"

Thank you, as I thought, he's crazy)).

Even the originals of this artist are sold not more than 20-60 thousand dollars? How did I look for auctions?

There are his works even for only 1-2 thousand dollars.

And this copy does not cost more than $ 100?

His most expensive painting sold for 184 thousand dollars, as I understand it?

Well, the original of this picture is about 50-100 thousand dollars?

But a copy is unlikely to cost more than $ 100)).

The Heffel prices are a good indication of current values. This is one of his better known paintings and it's in a public collection. It's not likely to come on the market. If it did sell, it might set a record for a Paul Peel painting.

I suppose a good copy might retail for a couple hundred dollars, but that's just conjecture... I really don't know. I'm useless at valuations.

There are a gazillion of these prints out there; until recently, I owned one. The price range is all over the place, depending upon the knowledge of the seller, and his/her ability to spin a yarn. Good thing you asked here!

Unless here the frame perhaps something costs? As old frame?
And so the picture price I think from 50 to 200 dollars.

Well if in Russia to sell it. At you maybe will give more expensively)?

I can not judge the frame from the photo, but think, unless you sell it to a pedophile, if there is any value here, it is in the frame.

The watermark on the bottom right, am I correct to assume the seller is in Russia?

I guess the seller could be a scammer, of course they could also be incompetent. The easiest way to find out if they are a scammer or incompetent: offer to purchase the painting on the condition that it is authenticated by an art dealer of your choice (the seller must pay for the authentication). If they agree to have it looked at, they are incompetent, if they refuse they are probably a scammer.

He said that he was joking)).

Requests for a picture of about 1000 dollars. But, even such a price is cosmic))
Moreover, the frame is new in the picture.

I not think it is hardly more expensive than 100-200 dollars.
