    Anyidea of the maker of this pig pen holder?

    A lot of these "Pink Pigs" fairings were produced in Germany by various manufacturers.

    With only the 2 letters on the bottom, I assume this was painted by a hobbyist.

    I think Sandra got it. I wouldn't worry too much about the usage. These were pretty much just cute items to look at. The paint jobs are also inconsistent on these pieces. Some are very nicely painted underglaze - others just partially or wholly cold-painted.
