A question for British members

I restore old lighting, ceiling fixtures, chandeliers, and sconces.

I had a British buyer purchase 2 of my ceiling fixtures. But, I'm not sure they will be able to adapt the wiring.

I've read a few things about adapters for the sockets, changing them to chandelier base. But what about the wiring? My fixtures have basic 2 wire sockets for 120v.

    Thanks for any info!

Should be OK. They'll get them rewired for 240v and PAT tested if they've sense. Our light fittings are commonly two wire at the fitting, earthed at the switch. And you can buy screw fitting bulbs very easily here.

They may need to rewire the whole thing; fortunately it's not difficult. I've done it, so it can't be.
