    Hi folks

picked up this in a charity shop a few days ago (3.50) i was over the moon with it :singing:

but showed it to john (carver) and he said it looked like resin :(

took the wind right out of my sails....but still not 100% sure, don't seem to be able to see any bubble holes or such

doesn't feel/look like plastic, but if not what ? (certainly fooled me if plastic)

one of those rattle types (beads or something inside)

i still really like it, so if plastic will just keep it, and keep rattling it :) (quite therapeutic)

    any thoughts or info appreciated

very good thought mate, would have to be quite thin as its quite light, but being hollow might justify that. will give it a little scratch somewhere, and see ;)

i think the 2 part construction is nothing but a good thing, think would certainly rule out cheap tat

Bizen ware seems to be pottery, so a wee scratch might just let us know

................didn't scratch like i expected for pottery (slighty softer) but does have grit, so a definite possibility ;)
