I found this ring the other day and is 10k. It appears to be possibly Victorian? I am not sure but it is a nice little thing. Red stones nothing special and very very dried out opals? There are very faded marks on the shank and all I can see is a K, it had been resized at some point.

As for the brooch, it is marked 10k and probably 1930s? 20s? The one question I have is that there are these two posts on either side of the blue stone. Did they have something attached to them at one point? What could it possibly have been?

    Nice little pieces:)
The "dryed opals" on the ring look like worn faux pearls. The red stones being very even in tone could be either paste or synthetic rubies (An UV torch test could be useful).
On the brooch, the "posts" on each side are for holding half drilled pearls, secured with glue.

    I'm with kyra.:)
The brooch could be 1910-20, with that type lever safety clasp.
