Another 2 items from my seemingly endless supply of boxes, 1st is a rock ?lava that is shaped liked an animal ? lizard, at first I thought maybe a fossil, but am really not sure, 2nd is either a tooth or a claw, To me it is shaped like a bird, but probably just my imagination, Rock is 7 inches long and 2 inches tall. Tooth/claw is 2 inches long by approx 1/2 inch tall, as always my grateful thanks for any help

Wonder if this is a traditional NA fetish, in which little or nothing has been done to the stone to see an animal in it:

The stone looks to me like carved pumice. Is it light for its size? Does it float?

It does not float, and weighs approx 1/2 lb, that is not exact as I cant find my small scales,(what is new around here)when I removed it from the water there is also shades of green in there,

The tooth could be walrus (not the big tusk, obviously). It is a tooth though, not a claw or carving.

Of course...I know I've seen these before, and am thinking marine mammal, or something else from Alaska or BC...
I've even got one, but forget what I was told when it was given to me, by someone from Anchorage.
