Just some show and tell. This is a series of art books published '69-'70 by Hamlyn under their Cameo banner, pocket-sized and heavy on color prints. I picked up a couple somewhere, and the back flap of the dust jackets showed there were more. I haunted the used book stores back then and always kept my eyes open. Every now and then, I would find one with a back flap that showed an expanded list of titles. It took years, but I think I eventually ran them all down. It's a really broad range of titles, lots of eye candy with an appropriate essay to tie things together.

The back flap started like this:

    and ended up like this:

with 5 separate releases after the initial titles.

Lightweight, but fun. These are translations of books published in Italy in 1966 by Fratelli Fabri Editori.

As set collectors (sports cards) and OCD completists, our hats are off to ya.

the Fabbri brothers were very social. a bit like the Rororo series in Germany. after the war nobody could find any new books, the old ones often destroyed by fire. so the idea was to print cheap and in small format or on newspaper material to make them readily available to the masses.
