I can't find any info about SNV Nantes. Nantes is not in Limoges.

Don’t know if this this the same S.N.V. Nantes.

 

S.N.V means Société nouvelle de volailles, a company for processing chickens (for KFC etc.). so most probably a give-away for good customers.

S.N.V. is an acronym that can stand for a lot of things. SNV, the poultry processor, has only been in business since 1997. More likely the S.N.V. that stands for Société Nantaise de Voilerie. The only internet reference I could find dates to 1960 and 1961 which is about the right period. Do think though it might have been a corporate gift.
