    Hello there everyone! I am just curious about this interesting set of metal figures that i have and also maybe someone knows IMG_0211[1].JPG what they might be worth, thanks.

    Looks like a Spanish-themed set with Don Quixote as the king.

    Many of these Don Quixote sets actually were made in Spain, for the tourist trade. They were usually made of brass, and half the pieces were silver plated (to distinguish "black" pieces from "white".)
    As recently as 7 or 8 years ago, you could find them in even the more expensive tourist shops, in places like Toledo and Madrid. Whether that's still the case, I don't know.

    Yes, Don Quixote, Dulcinea is the queen, Sancho Panza the bishop, the knight is Don Quixote's horse Rocinante, and the rooks are the windmills he fought.
