    But what do I call this? And what to do with it? 4.75" x 3.25" thin film-like material.

    I wonder if it's simply a souvenir from a trip to Paris, where someone went to see the Church of St Gervais (et St Protais.)

    The little piece would look pretty propped up in front of a window.

    I thought the same thing SBSVC. Now, is there some kind of framing available? Or do I have to make something myself.

    I think the only thing that would allow the light to come thru would be plain old glass... Maybe one of those frames that's just 2 pieces of glass (front & back) with clips to hold them together?
