Featured A wee piece of Doulton for bear.

    I noticed you are a member of a Doulton group and thought you might like to see this little 3 legged cauldron. I think it is a match holder as it has a very rough surface. The silver mount is Chester 1899. It is marked on the base. "DOULTON LAMBETH ENGLAND 7456"

    Oh yum. That's enchanting, literally. Covet: I am very fond of their miniatures.

    Yes, a little match striker. Can you get an image of the base marks with slightly less glare? I can work out the who dunnit then. I ccan see CO.

    Only have the 2 pieces. Just items accumulated because they seemed cheap at the time.

    That image is fine, I'll go play hunt the name. The second one is very unusual - it's sprigged, which isn't typical of Doulton Lambeth at all. And dated 1880.
