ABP Cut Glass Bowl

    I have a cut glass bowl that I am positive is ABP. Has an oval shape and measures 8 5/8" long, 6 1/2" wide and is 1 7/8" deep. Has very deep cut blocks and a scalloped edge. Also has a design of 5 lines going vertical and horizontal. heavy piece weighing in at 2 1/2 pounds. Anyone have an idea on maker? Thanks

    Possibly but my money is on molded and not that old.

    You have a very nice bowl there..but I must agree.. but not ABCG. :shy:

    The design would be described as a Miter (Mitered) Block

    EAPG glass. Westmoreland "Reeded Block" AKA "Berlin" - same scallop edge, mitered blocks with the reeding, and same star or sun burst bottom. Believe the pattern was originally done by Adams, then Bryce, then U.S. Glass and finally by Westmoreland in 1924 for Woolworth's per the following site:
