IMG_6306.jpeg IMG_6313.jpeg IMG_6308.jpeg IMG_6307.jpeg Hi all, please any guesses as to the signature on this painting? Not sure at all,but thinking it possibly dates from around the 70’s? Or earlier? It came for the apartment of an elderly Italian gentleman. He also had a few paintings and drawings from the Netherlands (Amsterdam). It is 42 x 32cm in size. What do you think of it? Possible age? Thank you for any comments.

Not entirely successful. An amateur, I would think. And at first glance, I saw the date "65" following the signature. Not at all sure that's what it is though.

i quite like it and would have bought as well, its hard to judge something like this when the cameras even a slightly bit off (not perfectly parallel to photo edges)
but still like what i'm seeing

i also think a bit of age as well, hard to tell but wasn't painted in recent times i bet

1965 is certainly plausible, the appearance of the back & use of Masonite was fairly common in the 50's & 60's. The varnishing adds depth and richness to a decent abstract.
