    I have had no luck searching for this artist Sounds Irish
    this painting has been in an area where it had water running on it and has sustain some curable damage.

    Thanks AJ I cleaned a small section with a soft hand soap and the stain came off quite easily. Any suggestion on what I could use to wash away the stains without dulling the painting's colors?
    My assumption is that water ran down the wall were it was hanging, May have been a broken water pipe or possibly a fire on the floor or floors above. Purely speculation but water ran down the walls and created these streaks in the painting. I would appreciate all cleaning suggestion and knowledge from our forum, because this is a first for me.
