image.jpg image.jpg I have only been able to find one other of this book sold on EBay for $10.

I've searched and searched them web but I can't seem to find any info oboist this edition. It's written in pencil to someone for Christmas in 1893.

Are you using the correct spelling (Aesop's Fables) in your searches? I only ask because you spelled it wrong in the title.

Yep, spelling it right. I'm using my phone to post and it's this dang auto correct thing that's messing with me. Thanks for noticing.

Ok. So what about the interior page(s) that provide publisher, dates, edition info? Pictures of it/them?

I was just about to write this...

    F. M. Lumpton Publishing Company
    No. 65 Duane Street.

ABOUT: Frank Moore Lupton began publishing domestic and agricultural reference works in New York under the imprint F.M. Lupton around 1882. By 1888 his firm was located at 63 Murray Street, [before 1892] moved to 106-108 Reade Street, [in 1892] to 65 Duane Street and began publishing sets and series of literary works on a massive scale....

Well, to quote your Lupton summary "began publishing sets and series of literary works on a massive scale...." Doesn't sound promising for very few.

Just remember that "rare" does not equate to "valuable."
