African or Pacific Isle Statue?

    He appears to be in the style of standing figures (both male and female) made by the Bamana (Bambara) people of Mali. They are variable, but the prominent ears and nose are typical, as is the simple stance with the arms hanging at the sides. Some have the facial scarifications indicated as well.
