Age and origin miniatuur cast? bronze ? Lion

    Hi
    I have these 4 cm long approx 1 cm wide and 1 cm high miniature lion.

    I couldn't find any markings except a circle.

    any idea abouth the age and origin ?

    Is it made of bronze or some other material? it weighs about 10 grams.

    Maybe a TINY bit of copper polish on your finger tip to see what that tiny circle says???? AND even before you do that, I'm wondering if there's a face showing there!?????? WHO signs their work with a FACE???????????

    Ty @Aquitaine. I dont have copper polish at home. Can it be done woth something else?

    Then I'd skip the polish!!! OR see if anyone else might suggest a TINY bit of baking soda.....wet.....just a TINY bit of abrasion....BUT wait for others to chime in!!!!

    Initially I had skimmed what you'd said about the lion and didn't quite realize that the lion was that small!!!!!!
