    To me it screams 1950s.

Maybe even 60-80s. But what do I know?

I think it's also sometimes called ribbon glass.

Yeah, I was gonna say 70's. I have a Fenton lamp in similar fashion that was made in the 70's. I'm sure it was manufactured as an electrified lamp as the hole in the marble base wood be difficult for the average person to drill. Almost looks like put together from older and newer parts, could be wrong (alot):)

Yes, write down Latticino as Desperate said. If you Ebay search "Latticino lamps" you will find them (many in pink, like this). If selling, you might add "adventurine" to the description, that refers to the glittery gold edging on the ribbons.

There is something about this lamp that does feel like a marriage. If I had to guess I would put the marble base and latticino glass part around 1950's plus or minus ten years. The glass dome seems totally out of place, I don't think they were originally sold together, but could be wrong.

    I love Latticino glass.

It looks original to me, and probably 1950s into the 60s. The lamp cord gives it away. The white ones went out of use by 1970 or so if I remember properly, and weren't made until well after WWII ended.

A slight correction. It is "Aventurine" and not "Adventurine"

    It's Italian Murano glass.
