Well, you've got a patent pending date which is very helpful...

    Hi,
Certain parts are pending. The patent date of the compact is right. You NEVER have a date for a pending patent. Patents are always granted on Tuesdays. If you have a date that is NOT a Tuesday it is most likely a fake. So when you find a patent pending you never find a date.

Thank you. So that is December 2nd 1924? Or February 12th 1924? Or... lol;)

A patent date will not tell you when something was made.I have a couple Ezra Bowman engraving tools made in the 1990's with a patent date of 1890,all of the companies engravers have been marked patent 1890 for the last 100 years.

    Hi Stormy,
It is an American item so the date is MONTH day year. Feb 12 1924 was a Saturday.

According to Wikipedia, Feb 12 1924 was a tuesday, and a very interesting day:

Any Jewelry - you made me look up the news about Shoeless Joe (say it ain't so, Joe) Jackson. Hadn't thought of that in years.
