Age of this firescreen?

    Hi there,

    Any rough guesses on the age of this fire screen?

    Much appreciated.

    I think the tapestry might be older but unsure?
    The wood has 1499 on it?
    I’ve checked the screws 1860 or newer?
    Victorian perhaps?

    Can't tell much from this picture. The whiplash line border around the peacock is an art nouveau detail so that would put this circa 1900.

    Thank you brad for the information. I think you’re right..
    perhaps Art Deco the surround? The picture definitely looks older!

    The surround is pretty non-descript. Nothing really art deco about it.
