Age on Mechanical Bank

    This is a bank that I got from my father. I know it is not original but it seems like it might be an older reproduction. There is a small lever on the back that when pushed, moves the arm up to the mouth. When the arm moves, the eyeballs also move. The dimensions are 6" high x 4 7/8" wide. There are no markings on the base. Any thoughts on the age? Thanks for your help!

    The original has a derogatory name on the back, so repro.

    He has become know as Jolly.

    Thanks so much to i need help and Bookahtoo! There are a few minor differences but it seems like it might be the 1945 version.

    The givaway is the Phillips screw in the back.
    I knew a guy who used to import these by the container load in the late 80's early 90's from Viet-Nam.
