Im a little confused on this. So 4 years ago I inherited a house which was used as storage by my dad, two uncles and my grandpa. I found a ton of old stuff which is mainly what got me interested in vintage things and antiques. I found this pin in a small box with a bunch of military pins and I cant find much information using Google so I figured I'd come bug yall about it ;) . I've always had an interest in old stuff but when I went through the house and found some very cool things, I really started to get into it.

Anyways, all I can come up with (not even sure about this either) is that ACB stands for Airfield Construction Branch and maybe had something to do with the Royal Air Force. What can yall tell me about this thing?

    Welcome, Josh!

First off, the pin is a tie tack with gator clip. Second, with the stars/stripes banner I don't think it would be anything "royal."

Beyond that, I got nothin'. Where did you see "airfield construction branch?"

    And yes, interesting ring!

Well a friend of a friend said that's what ACB stands for, I'm not sure where he got that from. I still haven't found any evidence of that. I just found a clue from Googling but these people aren't sure either...

About the ring, I've done a little diesel mechanic work before but I've been in the oilfield most of my life. I got bored one day and I had a few stripped out ignition wrenches so I made some rings out of them. I have a bunch of different ones I've made over the years.

Hello and welcome to the board.

Any of your relative CB fanatics? I found an American CB club. Very patriotic but can't find any lapel pins like yours. Doesn't mean one of the branches didn't have them made up.

Hmm that makes sense. All the men on dad's side of the family used cb's. I found 5 of them in the house actually.

I tried to get better pics of the markings on the back. I know what the 10k and 12k mean but what about the "1/10" , "1-20" and the letters? Is this pin the first one made, out of a total of 10?

Don't know why it made double images. I don't see military here. This is for a fraternal or company logo.
