News video from TV station KTLA 5. The video was posted April 23rd 2022.

The estate sale company probably had a lot of pictures on their website but I haven't looked for it yet. I'm hoping it hasn't all been taken down now that the estate sale is over.

Surprised they didn't go the auction route. Then there would also be a catalog.

I'm surprised to see an estate sale in this case. After all, he left a wife and kids.

    Thanks for sharing.
I think his wife and kids held on to some of his clothes. I know his wife kept a special tie and his kids already donated some of his suits.
    I still miss him.

They probably took everything that meant anything to them, or there was so much they had to let some go. Quite likely there was another house or two somewhere else. That said, if I'd been at the head of the line to the jewelry pile... oh my. OINK. I'd have wanted something hockey-related too, but I'm betting that's what the family kept.

There were some really nice items at this sale, but I doubt I could have afforded them. But thanks for posting, it was fun to look at the photos.

Some thoughts on this sale. I was wondering how long A.T. owned this house. It was certainly very 80s with all that Asian decor. And the kitchen! Definitely not my taste even when that style was popular. I also think it looks like his "working house", used while the shows were being filmed. It didn't strike me as a permanent family residence. That's likely why it was never remodeled.
Yes, but this looked like a normal downsizing, can't keep everything, sort of sale. When the house sells, I imagine someone coming in and completely gutting and remodeling it.

From what he said before he passed, he redid a lot of the house. He loved to build and rebuild and fix things. I have to say most of the stuff is not my taste.

The last thing he fixed was an outside bench and when he passed he and his wife were sitting on it.
    RIP Alex

It wasn't my taste either, but evidently he liked it. One house that sold up the street from me was done in 70s disco, right down to metallic wallpaper on the kitchen ceiling. Yes, I said ceiling! It's a gut job.

Well, I was wrong about his house. For some reason I thought he lived in Canada. Apparently, AT owned his house in Studio City for 25 years (which kind of explains the decor) and it is now being listed for $7M.

He became a US Citizen at some point, but he was born and raised in Canada and rooted for a Candian ice hockey team. Played too when he was younger. I guess once he moved in he didn't redecorate.

I remember before we knew he was sick, he gave a tour of his house via TMZ.
He said he spent years fixing it up and loved working with the tools he had collected over the years. From what I could see in the backgrounds, he and his wife liked how it looked so I suppose that is all that counts.

If the wife was happy, I'd say leave be too! (LOL)

I bet shoppers were lined up down the block.

Fascinating to look at those estate sale photos.
