Alexander doll? Or not?

    I have a 20” vintage doll that has the name Alexander at the back of the neck. It doesn’t say anything else only Alexander. None of the clothes have any tags to identify it.

    Could it be a Madame Alexander doll or not? Is there another doll company that used the name Alexander? Yes the head is off but that’s another issue.

    I think all Alex clothes were tagged......tags not always at the neck.......look at side seams.
