Alvin Pewter

    I picked up this pewter goblet - or is it a chalice - at the local thrift store. I haven't been able to find very much at all about 'Alvin Pewter'. Can anyone point me to more information about this maker? It is about 6" tall.

    The form is akin to a brandy snifter, but who would want to have the aroma of pewter messing with the nose of a decent cognac???? And I should think that it would take some time to warm it properly...............

    I'd use it for dried flowers, or maybe the car keys.
