Wow -- overwhelming amount of stuff!

 

SHE (I say 'she' cuz that's what it looked like!!!) had a SERIOUS addiction, I'd say!!!! WORDS ESCAPE ME AT THE MOMENT.......unless 'they' were running a home shopping business of some sort......????????????? YIKES!!!!! Apparently, literally, had money to BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!.....how are they going to control THOSE CROWDS.....even over 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I wonder if they had a store. Either that or the auctioneer is using the opportunity to combine sellers in a nice big location.

 

wowwie. I wish I could go. After a fast look, I see the jadite and plenty of it and I saw some cookbooks too. Nice barware there as well. I have to go back and take a second, third and fourth look. that is one heck of a sale.

 

I wonder if it is salted with other people stuff?

 

That would be a heck of a lot of salt

A lot of these items look like items you buy from a wholesaler.

Or as others have mentioned it's been salted.

 

At the bottom of the page they ask "Problems seeing pictures?". I wanted to say "No, problems taking it all in!".

 

I never heard the term salted before. One again live and learn.

Hey all. I'm going to try to go just to see it all. I tried to look up who owned the house and think they may have been related to the entertainment industry which is big here.
The folks who run this auction are generally known for NOT salting auctions.
I do think she was maybe a dealer for a couple of jewelry makers. I've never seen so many rings and bracelets in one collection. She could have worn rings on all fingers for 6 months and not run out!
Anyway, should be interesting. Think some of the glass and china is very appealing.

 

I'd never go to such a place. typical blown up stuff, probably people that had to sell their house and were offered by one of these disgusting cheaters to let their meager stuff in and rent it to them for a week or two.
