    Hi all
Anyone know what this glass piece might be?
Is it a finger bowl or a glass?
    Any idea of maker?
    Thanks in advance.

The bowl looks like it could be alexandrite color, the stem not so much. Easiest way to check..... it'll be purple in incandescent light and blue in florescent or LED light.

    What's the diameter?
Makes me think of a small butter top, but I'm not finding any amethyst glass.

I think Clutteredcloset is onto something......I hadn't considered the size of the stem. does not look stable enough to hold liquid without danger of falling over.
Reminds me of the time I thought I found a Heisey vase but could not find it in any books or listings.....I was sure I had an undiscovered piece.....Turns out it was a Punch Bowl Base. LOL

The quilted glass and color makes me think of Fenton or Mosser (Not Moser).
Wonder what sort of lidded jars they had out in their later years.

How about a "Mushroom cover"? on a wooden disc to keep mushrooms from drying out while waiting to be sliced and fried. ? But the color is a puzzle.
