Finally a pendant for my Amsterdam School collection, after countless brooches.
It is a silver beauty, mounted with that Dutch favourite, Mediterranean red coral.

It is marked with the Dutch sword for 1906-1953, and a maker's mark HS or SH. There is a symbol under or above the letters, depending on the way you look at it.
I can't find the maker's mark, it being only partly stamped doesn't help.
So if anyone has an idea, thank you, any help is welcome.

    Thank you for looking.

The only mark on the back is the sword mark, the other indentations are caused by hammering.

I found this mark, but I don't think it is the same:

    :)

    Very pretty!
I haven’t found any mark that’s closer. Nor have I found a similar pendant for a clearer mark. The day is young, maybe someone will find it.

Im sure you will enjoy it! :)

Thanks Cheryl, yes, that looks like the same mark. It makes sense that the blob on my mark would be part of that star.
They both look different from the one in the link I posted, but as you said, it could be a variant.

This link may be of some help. It shows various Amsterdam School maker marks, and info about them etc.

I only found the link via Google Search. I haven't any further knowledge about makers marks myself. Sorry :(

No problem! One of the members of the forums there is Dutch and does a good bit of research, thought perhaps I'd missed something, but I checked around and nothing. Again - welcome to Antiquers!

    Welcome @ritzyvintage .
Never mind Ritzy, thank you for taking the trouble to look it up.:)

So far the best online resource for Dutch marks of this period, ca 1910s-1930s, is Lang University, the link I posted above. It doesn't deal with Amsterdam School makers specifically, but it has been of help in identifying marks.

No, it isn't, and except for the last few date marks in the first chart, it doesn't cover this period. Thanks for looking it up though.
Thanks K. Different HS though. I know that the Dutch are a special people:hilarious:, but I don't think Henricus Simon lived that long.
