Amulet? Anyone know what this is

    Picked this up for a few bucks at an antique shop. I liked the way it looked. Does anyone know what it is exactly (It’s about 2 to 2.5 inches tall)? The tag said amulet.

    Kosmo, is yours a small bronze or brass plaque? The ones in inh's photo look like amulets made of a ceramic mix.
    Not that it matters that much, the metal plaques are made for both local use as well as souvenirs, just like the ceramic amulets.

    It feels metallic. It’s not thick - perhaps as thick as an old large size Roman coin

    I know the type, my parents had a bigger one in the same style. Different back though. It was newly bought in the 70s.
