Featured An orange (the fruit) paperweight with leaf on top.

    This piece appears to be fairly well done with a polished bottom & an applied stem with leaf. No signature that I could find. It is 3 3/4" to the top of the stem, 2 3/8" to the top of the orange & 2 3/4" across side to side.

    I am not quite sure how to describe the coloring effect. There seems to be a layer of clear glass with a layer of orange swirled speckles & a clear center. :wacky::confused::confused: :happy::happy:

    Speckled?
    Mottled?

    I doubt it is Murano.
    Possibly a smaller studio glass. Or it could still be a Chinese import.

    Would that qualify as cased glass? And a mottled inside layer?

    Likely a studio piece or Chinese. It was mad3 by the blower rolling the glass in orange frit (small pieces of glass) and refireing and finishing.
