I can't really read this, but it looks as though it's Hecho Mexico. The foiled glass would make sense. Thoughts please?

I tried to help, but wasn't successful. But there appears to be a shape in the circle. Is that a clue?

Construction and glass stones look typical of Mexico, does it test as silver?

Think you are correct. Looks like Hecho -
Style of bracelet and hinges look appropriate for 1940s silver or alpaca bracelets.
Are the stones crushed opal? Can't really see what the material is.

Excuse me, just realized you said foiled glass.
Wondering if that might not be replacements.

Haven't tested it yet, it does "smell" silver. Yes, that nice old foiled glass, I reckon - which was the other thing that pointed me to south of the border. They fit so well that I think they're original.

It's similar to a sterling bracelet I have that was purchased in the '40s or '50s in Mexico. Mine doesn't have stones, though, just circular pieces that looks like coins where your stones are.

Thanks folks! I really ought NOT to have been buying more jools, but it whimpered pathetically at me.

I, for one, have never been able to withstand pathetic whimpering.

I cite in my defence that it was the equivalent of five dollars. From a dealer who thinks he is a smart arse!

That glass sure is pretty! :) The front looks silver, but does it look like it is peeling on the back at the clasp?
