Angular small silver-plated teapot

    I like the lines and patterns of this teapot. Does anyone know if this is called some kind of style?

    It says "warranted triple plate Aurora S.P. MFG Co. 307" on the bottom. Different things come up with that search phrase.

    It was very cheap so I bought it in spite of the crooked bottom rim. An easy fix for someone with the right tools?

    It's not a traditional teapot shape. Jugs like this, when supplied with a tea set, would be used for hot water to top up and revive the tea in the tea pot. At least that is the custom here in the UK.

    I was going to ask the age and thought to type in

    Aurora S.P. MFG when in business

    and got:

    In 1869, the Aurora Silver Plate Manufacturing Company (formerly the Chicago Silver Plate company) made its home in Aurora. For the next 50 years, until 1919, the company manufactured silver-plated goods that were sold all over the country.

    Does anyone know if the style looks closer to 1869 or 1919?
