Animal shaped brass oil lamps (?)

Hello everyone,
Does anyone recognize this piece?
Could it be an oil lamp? Maybe Mediterranean?
It has around 20cm wide.

Not sure what this is... you said "lamps" in the title. Do you have two?

Candle holders? Maybe missing something?? Wait for others because I am guessing and someone else may know exactly that this is.

Certainly seems to have a bit of quality that they bothered to use sterling silver for the front leaf or tree-like overlay. Maybe from Israel?

Only one! It was a typing error.
Not sure if it's an oil lamp, other options are candle holder/candlesticke or even some kind of inkpot? The tree could be tree-of-life? I haven't found anything specific yet. I will keep searching!
