Featured Another African head

    Hi All,

    I’d also appreciate you guys taking a look at this other African head that I have.

    I believe this one is older (pre 1970s for sure), also made of hardwood, maybe mahogany?

    She may be tourist art, (something I would never have a clue of!) but to me, she looks very nicely done!!!!

    I agree, a beautiful souvenir from East Africa.
    She doesn't look Makonde to me, but I haven't really kept track of what the Makonde were making after the 1980s or so. African art is not really my forte.
