Featured Another bracelet, probably central Europe

This is the second of two bracelets I'm asking about today, also passed down by my mother-in-law. I'm told she used to wear it a lot in the 1960s and probably later, too -- which is probably why I can only find one very worn mark (and why it feels so comfortable).

I'm assuming silver but could of course be wrong. Total weight is around 39 g (17 mm wide, 19.5 cm long, profile max. 3 mm).

Can anyone say anything more based on the design and/or mark? Thanks for looking!

I suspect Italian with that weave and the side clips.

 

Could also be German.

I see yellow on the tongue of the clasp and on the inside of the links. Could be the photo, but if it is actually there, it is plated.

 

Yes.

The clasp still closes very smoothly, but without any play, and the side clips also still click perfectly. The whole piece seems very nicely done so I'm wondering why it was plated -- it's hard to imagine that the cost saving would have been massive, as a percentage.

 

It was big enough to be a reason plate items.
