Another Egyptian Necklace

    This is another of my Mom's necklaces. She loved anything Egyptian so I would assume this is one of those but it looks more like pre-Columbian. It is 28" long. I cannot really figure out what the little figures are supposed to be. Not sure of the material it is made from as it is pretty light. It is made to look like a clay material.

    You're right Steve, it is inspired by pre-Columbian. I would say from Colombia, the style looks based on Muisca culture figures.

    Hi AJ, Thanks again for your insights. I googled Muisca Culture and saw some figures that look just like those on the necklace. Thanks much!
