    Hi All,

Hoping someone can decipher the green mark on the back of this German porcelain chop plate.

The mark has a crown at the top, the name of the company in cursive in the middle and the word "Bavaria" beneath. The end of the name appears to be "dorf" or "endorf". Can't make out the beginning. Sorry the photos are so poor, but the mark is very light on the plate.

    Any help is much appreciated.
    Danke dir

Thanks so much, Janetpjohn. Have sold lots of German china over the years but this is my first piece of Erbendorf. Had never heard of it before.

RL has the company's name spelled Erbondorf. PM&M has it spelled Erbendorf. Do you know which is correct?

PM&M (my website) is - like myself - located in Germany. Therefore I am sure that I know German city names better than some person on a US website. In fact they actually use texts swiped from my site. Go figure.

Hi SiS (and all other people here),
Long time, no see. Lots of work (Germans around me LOVE that), lots of idiots (Brexit), lots of marks. Now I only need typical English weather all summer!
