Another Indonesian carving

    This one is definitely not art deco, so not what I usually pick up. And carving seems a bit crude, or at least not finely polished like the deco pieces. But this one also has vestiges of missing paint, and I thought maybe older than deco, done in traditional style? Or not. Hopefully @Any Jewelry will see this and have time to respond, though I certainly understand if she can't. In any case, wishing you well!

    True, crudeness of execution is almost never a good sign. I do think this was finished, though, due to the paint vestiges, yellow, red, black, green, left in the crevices.
