This is also a mid-century sculpture, I think, with the initials "dB" on the back. Any ideas who this might be would be appreciated. IMG_1323.jpg IMG_1325.jpg

I think it could be JP...
Could you try to take a picture with the WHOLE item showing? Modern art is difficult enough to figure out sometimes, without having to wonder what actually looks like. I know I would really appreciate it.
I realize aside from the tips on this one, it may be complete, but maybe if you put it against a contrasting background and backed up just a little bit?
Like I believe now what I am seeing may be a couple because there are two heads (one slightly cut off) and maybe a pair of breasts? In the shape of a bat? :phantom:

Is it on a base? It appears to me it was part of something. Dont think its mid century though.

The two circles on the sculpture look to be rivet .

This is a sculpture of a couple and I think the artist is female because the male figure is given a tiny head (brain) compared to the one with the breasts

..also looks like there's a tiny appendage low down on the male figure:hilarious:

But any idea who created it or what style it is?

What you have appears to be a wing off a statue or something along those lines. For example the picture below has two of those "heads" which are making it look like heads but are just part of the wing.

Think it is a man and woman, you can see the breasts and her knees.

I zoomed up very close on the woman and what looks to be eyes appears to be paint loss making it look like eyes. Sorry just not seeing the man and woman in this.

If you look at my post, I had already identified a couple. I saw the heads and the breasts and said they appear to be in the shape of a wing like a bat.
However, my request was that Estaterestate take closeups, or make sure the whole piece was in the frame. Now, we can all see it!
I still think the initials are JP, though.
