Another piece from the jewelry hoard - sailing medal?

    This piece was found in amongst the jewelry hoard I recently went through. :D:D

    I think it is made of brass & is definitely not attracted to a magnet.

    It is 1" across & has the letters O L C S on the back.

    The one thing I noticed about this piece is that the piece at the top is not located in the center. So if it is worn on a chain the sailboat would be displayed at a slight angle.:confused::confused:

    I was thinking maybe a sailing club award. Something like "Outstanding _____ _______ Sailor." I tried using "lions club" for the "lc" in Google, but nada.

    "at a slight angle" - as it should be. See how the people are hiked out on the rail? The boat is heeling.
