Another Pop Quiz... what is it and is it real?

    Hi guys, here is another find. I don't see any markings on this sword so I am thinking it's either someone's attempt at making swords or just basic soldier's weapon. What do you guys think?     Or just a fantasy piece? My dad bought something like that in a Pier One, back when they still sold cool stuff. It was just "made to look like" and not to fool anyone.

    Somewhere around here Ive got a dagger with that exact same handle that I bought in Busch Gardens back in the 70s.
