Featured Another Russian Scene Mystery

    I have another unidentifed piece of art from Russia. And to make it more mysterious I saw almost the exact same piece at an antique mall for $125. The owner of the booth was not there so I could not ask any questions. It’s made of metal. Bronze? It’s a bit heavy 0D6FD045-2B8C-4E23-B3D7-70FE0B7B7920.jpeg

    Hehe, it's just a matter of practice
    I googled "russian enamel cathedral plaque" then searched Google Images

    Nice. My parents had one which they bought new in the 70s. Enameled copper. This could be the same age. It was nowhere near the prices they're asking in the links.

    The photo of the label on the back of your plaque is very blurry but I was able to work out some of it.

    You're welcome! Often the labels on these sorts of commercially produced items will give some identification of what it is.
